Recently, Mayors hosted a fabulous exhibition at their Aventura location featuring a beautiful and unique display of their legendary Rolex watches, used in James Cameron’s dive to the ocean’s deepest point. Selecta Magazine was part of the glamorous affair and our VIP’s enjoyed an evening of exclusive shopping, while savoring delicious hors d’oeuvres and sipping on sweet white wine and champagne.

The exhibition features a wonderful display detailing how filmmaker and explorer James Cameron made a solo dive into the deepest areas of the sea, where the watch was attached to the exterior of his submersible. The ROLEX DEEPSEA CHALLENGE descended to a depth of 35,756 feet, showcasing Rolex’s incredible waterproof capabilities during a fascinating expedition that opened a new chapter in deep-sea exploration. The Rolex Deepsea Challenge Exhibition will be on display for the first time in Florida, exclusively at Mayors Jewelers in Aventura from June 21^st to July 8^th, 2013.
